DGP Sanctions Special Reward Rs. 2.20 lakh for Police wards

Jammu: Director General of Police S.P Vaid has sanctioned DGPs Special Reward of Rs.10,000/- each in favor of 22 wards of serving Police personnel who have qualified competitive examination conducted by ICAR/ SKUAST/ BOPEE/ Central Board during the year 2017. A total amount of Rs.2,20,000/- special reward has been sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund for the students.

The wards of serving police personnel who have been granted scholarship are Umer Ali Mir, Talib Gulshan Mir, Himansu Saini, Mayur Baboria, Ayisha Muskan, Asif Mustafa, Zubair Ashraf, Rahul Sharma, Shainu Saroch, Danish Hamid, Nusrat-Ul-Islam, Afeefa Malik, Mariya Mutaqeen, Suvaid Shafi, Mohd. Imran Khan. Vaibhav Sharma, Vibhor Sharma, Usman Maqbool, Zubair Ahmad, Suhaib Amin Lone, Suraya Ahsan and Aamir Sohail.

Police Headquarters from time to time has been sanctioning scholarships and rewards for wards of martyred and serving Police personnel under different schemes to boost their morale.
