Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed on Monday in Pulwama and some areas of Shopian districts of south Kashmir against the killings of two militants in Lethpora Fidayeen attack.
Five CRPF men were left dead and three injured in the pre-dawn attack on Lethpora Training Centre on Sunday.
All shops and other business establishments are closed in the area and public transport mostly remained off the roads.
Fardeen Ahmad Khandey of Tral and Manzoor of Baba of Drubgam were killed in the attack.
Earlier in the day, thousands of people participated in the funeral of a Jaish militant Fardeen Ahmad Khandey, son of Ghulam Mohammad Khanday, a serving police constable, in Tral area of Pulwama.
Four persons were injured during clashes between protesters and government forces in Drabgam area Pulwama early Monday.
