Kupwara: A residential house was gutted in fire incident in Ganaie Mohallah Gazriyal Kupwara on Monday, locals claim the non availability of water ‘made them helpless as they watched house turn into ashes’.
“A residential house of 3 Brothers, Md Anwar Sheikh ,Ab Rahim Sheikh ,Md Akbar Sheikh son of Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh caught fire  and engulfed the house rapidly,” locals said.
locals claimed that the area has been battling non availability of water, and when the fire erupted in the house they had no option but to watch ‘there home turn into ashes’.
By the time fire and emergency services could reach the area it had already damaged the house.
