Budgam, May 9: Police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district have registered a case under FIR No. 57/26 at Police Station Magam under provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals Act.
Officials said the case was registered following allegations of cruelty towards animals, and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
Police stated that necessary legal action will be taken in accordance with the law. Further details regarding the incident were awaited at the time of filing this report.
