Srinagar, July 13: Ravinder Pandita, Chairman Save Sharda Committee Kashmir Regd was awarded with Lal Ded national Literary award at a glittering Book released function in Tagore Hall Srinagar for Cultural & Heritage Preservation. The event was the Book release function of ‘Lal Ded – The Mother of Kashmir’ authored by Dr. Vaidehi Taman.

Many more activists were awarded at this Book launch event that included Commodore retd. D. S Sodhi, journalist Manzoor Dar amongst others.

Ravinder Pandita has thanked the organizers for bringing forth importance of Lal Ded as shared heritage. He alongwith organizers have demanded that a library be set up in the name of Lal Ded and her contemporary works.

Prominent guests included Dr. Vinay Sahasrbude former MP, Tirath Singh Rawat former CM of Uttarakhand and Neerja Mattoo a notable writer of Kashmir.
