RTO Kashmir Advises Public to Avoid Office Visits Amid Heatwave, Launches WhatsApp Assistance

Srinagar, June 30: In view of the prevailing heatwave across Kashmir, the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Kashmir has advised the general public to avoid unnecessary visits to its office and instead use a dedicated WhatsApp facility for RTO-related services and grievances.

According to a public notice issued by the Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Kashmir, Qazi Irfan, the public has been requested not to visit the RTO office unless it is absolutely necessary due to the ongoing extreme weather conditions.

The notice states that people requiring any assistance, facing grievances or seeking RTO-related services can send complete details through WhatsApp on 9622002432.

The office has assured that every effort will be made to resolve such issues within 48 hours. If any additional information or documents are required, applicants will be informed through a WhatsApp reply.

The RTO has appealed to the public to make maximum use of the WhatsApp facility and cooperate by avoiding unnecessary visits to the office during the heatwave.
