Srinagar, May 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday ordered transfers and postings of police officers in the interest of administration with immediate effect.

According to Government Order No. 291-Home of 2026 dated May 16, Krishan Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:2019), who was awaiting posting, has been posted as SSP CTFD.

He replaces Deepika, IPS (AGMUT:2018), who has been directed to await further posting at Police Headquarters (PHQ), J&K.

The order further stated that Musadiq Majid Basu, SP Security VIP Tech, has been transferred and posted as SP SS CID Headquarters against an available vacancy.
