DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma holds introductory meeting with GOC-in-Chief Northern Command

Udhampur, Apr 8: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Udhampur–Reasi Range, called on the General Officer Commanding in Chief, Northern Command at the Northern Command Headquarters, Udhampur. The meeting marked an important step in strengthening coordination between the Police and the Indian Army in the region.

During the interaction, both officers discussed matters related to security cooperation, operational synergy and continued collaboration to ensure peace and stability in the area. The GOC in Chief acknowledged the efforts of DIG in maintaining law and order and fostering inter-agency cooperation.

In recognition of his distinguished service, the Army Commander felicitated the DIG with the prestigious ‘Operation Sindoor Medal’.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to enhance joint efforts for the safety and security of the people of Udhampur and Reasi Range.
