Interacting with a large gathering of local residents, the Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring responsive, transparent, and citizen-centric governance. He said such outreach programmes are vital to bridge the gap between the administration and the public, particularly in rural and border areas.

During the meeting, Satish Sharma conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing development works and departmental functioning in the area. He directed the concerned officials to adopt a proactive approach in resolving public grievances and to ensure timely redressal of genuine issues. He emphasized that accountability and accessibility must remain the cornerstone of governance.

Highlighting the importance of inclusive development, the Minister stressed that no area should be left behind, especially regions like Khour which require focused attention due to their geographical and strategic significance.

He instructed officers to maintain close coordination with local representatives and ensure effective implementation of government schemes on the ground.
The public raised several key issues during the interaction, including concerns related to ration distribution, availability and efficiency of transport services, road connectivity, drinking water supply, youth-centric infrastructure, digital service delivery, and various local development gaps.

Taking note of these concerns, Satish Sharma assured the gathering that all genuine issues would be addressed in a phased, transparent, and result-oriented manner. He said that the government is committed to delivering tangible improvements in public service delivery and infrastructure development.
The Minister further reiterated that strict monitoring mechanisms are being put in place to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without delay or discrimination.

Senior officers from various departments were present during the meeting and were directed to take immediate follow-up action on the issues raised.
