The enforcement action targets violations linked to excessive noise and visibility hazards on city roads, particularly during evening and night hours.

Police said vehicles fitted with illegal pressure horns and unauthorized high-intensity lights are being intercepted during checks at multiple locations across Srinagar.

The use of pressure horns and high-beam projectors is prohibited due to their impact on public safety, including noise disturbance and glare affecting oncoming drivers.

The drive is ongoing, with further checks expected across different parts of the city. (KNT)
