Director Floriculture Kashmir, Mathoora Masoom, said that with the tulips now in bloom, the department has decided to open the garden for the season on Monday.

Located on the foothills of the Zabarwan Range overlooking Dal Lake, the garden is fully prepared to welcome tourists.

This year, officials said the garden will showcase around 1.8 million tulips of 70-75 varieties, with enhanced flower-bed density to create a more vibrant floral display. (KNO)
