The programme was graced by SSP APCR Kashmir Tariq Ahmad Wani as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he described Mehraj as a timeless lesson in faith, patience and obedience, urging the youth to draw moral and spiritual strength from the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He emphasised unity, compassion and social responsibility, appreciating Ehsaas Foundation for consistently organising programmes that promote spiritual awareness and positive societal values. He stated that such gatherings play a vital role in guiding the younger generation toward peace, discipline and ethical living.

Among the Guests of Honour were Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Wani, Joint Director Fisheries, who lauded the Foundation’s efforts in nurturing moral and spiritual culture in society and highlighted the importance of community-driven initiatives that harmonise faith with social service.

Renowned Kashmiri spiritual Sufi poet Suhail Ahmad (Raj Saeb) attended as Guest of Honour. Through his soulful expressions, he reflected on the divine ascension of the Prophet ﷺ, conveying the message of humility, love and nearness to Allah, adding an emotional and poetic depth to the Mehfil.

On behalf of Ehsaas Foundation, General Secretary Abida Rashid delivered a heartfelt message, stating that Mehfil-e-Mehraj is not merely remembrance but a call toward self-purification and spiritual awakening. She reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to organising faith-based programmes that inspire moral growth, unity and service to humanity.

The Mehfil featured Na’at recitations, spiritual discourses and reflections on the significance of the blessed night. A large number of people participated, making the event a serene and memorable spiritual gathering in the heart of Srinagar.

At the conclusion, General Secretary Abida Rashid extended her sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, poets, Na’at Khwans and all participants for making the event successful. She also expressed special thanks to Faizan Mohammad, Director Samzan Foods, for his continued support to Ehsaas Foundation events, and acknowledged the cooperation of Imtiyaz Ahmad. The Foundation further conveyed appreciation to sponsors Paristaan and Media Line Advertising Agency for their valuable support.
