Sewa Bharti J&K observes Republic Day with fervor

Srinagar, Jan 25: Sewa Bharti J&K UT celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit across various districts of the Union Territory.

The organization, dedicated to selfless service and community upliftment, organized a series of events to commemorate this historic occasion, a statement issued to INS reads.

Manzoor Ahmad Dar, Media Incharge of Sewa Bharti J&K UT, stated that the celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag at multiple locations, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

Volunteers, students, and community members participated in large numbers to showcase their commitment to the ideals of the Constitution.

In Srinagar, a cultural program featuring patriotic songs, speeches, and skits was organized, highlighting the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the role of every citizen in nation-building.

A special emphasis was laid on promoting unity, integrity, and social harmony within the diverse cultural fabric of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sewa Bharti volunteers also conducted cleanliness drives, free medical camps, and educational sessions in rural and underserved areas to mark the day.

These initiatives aimed to address the immediate needs of the community and foster a spirit of service and responsibility among the youth.

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Dar Vice President said, “Republic Day is a time to reaffirm our dedication to the values enshrined in the Constitution. Sewa Bharti remains committed to serving the nation and uplifting the marginalized sections of society through selfless efforts.”

The events concluded with a pledge to continue working for the betterment of society and a collective rendition of “Vande Mataram.”

Sewa Bharti’s initiatives on Republic Day 2025 were widely appreciated by the local communities, reflecting the organization’s steadfast commitment to nation-building.
