COAS Visits World Book Fair, New Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 17: General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited the World Book Fair at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, today organised by the Ministry of Education. He interacted with military and civil authors and visited the Qatar International Stall, UN equipment display and the Children’s Pavilion.

Emphasising that the future of India lies in its youth, the COAS highlighted the vital role of books in nurturing knowledge and critical thinking. As the nation moves towards Viksit Bharat @2047, he noted that informed and curious minds will be India’s greatest strength.

He also commended the National Book Trust for showcasing India’s rich civilisational, scientific and military heritage while inspiring new ideas among the youth.
