Srinagar, Jan 9: The University of Kashmir has announced winter vacations for all teaching departments of its main and off-site campuses from January 10 to February 22, 2026.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, the vacation will be observed across teaching departments; however, administrative work will continue as usual.

The notice further stated that Heads, Directors and Coordinators of departments, off-site campuses and centres have been directed to ensure that their offices function routinely. It added that examinations, if any, and other academic or administrative activities shall be conducted strictly as per the already notified schedule.
