Jammu, December 29: The third day of the ongoing BIG Jammu Kashmir Premier League (BIG JKPL) 2025–26, organised by 92.7 BIG FM, continued to captivate cricket enthusiasts with two action-packed league matches at the University of Jammu Ground, further strengthening the tournament’s growing popularity.

The league is being conducted with the support of HexaMed Diagnostics as the Title Partner, City University as the Powered By Partner, Kanwal Spices and Oxford Hospital as the Associate Partners, JK Sports Time as the Live Streaming Partner, and Pepsi as the Beverage Partner. Their association has contributed to the smooth conduct and professional execution of the tournament.

The first match of the day was played between Gamechangers and Tiles and Bath. Winning the toss, Tiles and Bath elected to bowl first, a decision that paid rich dividends.

Batting first, Gamechangers struggled to build substantial partnerships and were restricted to 125 runs in 15 overs, as the bowlers maintained consistent pressure.

In reply, Tiles and Bath displayed a dominant batting performance, chasing the target comfortably within just 12 overs and losing only one wicket. Aryaman delivered a stellar innings, scoring 89 runs off 43 balls, anchoring the chase with confidence and authority. His outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award, as Tiles and Bath secured a comprehensive 9-wicket victory.

The match was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, DIG Jammu–Samba–Kathua Range, who encouraged the players and appreciated the spirit of the game. He lauded the efforts of 92.7 BIG FM for organising the league and highlighted the role of sports in nurturing discipline, teamwork and positive energy among youth.

The second match of the day featured a high-scoring encounter between Valley Stars Ganderbal and Nice Gems. After winning the toss, Valley Stars Ganderbal opted to bat first and produced a commanding batting display, posting a massive total of 243 for 2. Ishtiaq Robby starred with a magnificent 107 runs off 48 balls, smashing 12 sixes, while Aadil Guldon narrowly missed his century with a powerful 99 off 48 balls, including 8 sixes.

Chasing the daunting target, Nice Gems struggled to keep pace, and Valley Stars Ganderbal went on to win the match by a margin of over 100 runs, asserting complete dominance.

Vikrant Sharma, Cluster Head North, 92.7 BIG FM, RJ Juhie, Morning Show Host, along with Ahmer Ikhlaq and Sahil Choudhary, were present on the occasion and appreciated the players, officials and spectators for their enthusiastic support, as the BIG JKPL continues to grow in scale and excitement.
