Jammu, Dec 27: The BIG Jammu Kashmir Premier League (JKPL) 2025–26, organised by 92.7 BIG FM, and held with the support of HexaMed Diagnostics as Title Partner, City University as Powered By Partner, Kanwal Spices and Oxford Hospital as Associate Partners, JK Sports Time as the Live Streaming Partner, and Pepsi as the Beverage Partner, witnessed an exciting contest on Day 2 at the University of Jammu Ground.

In the league match played on Saturday, Royal Goodwill Cricket Club defeated Game Changerz by 60 runs, further adding to the excitement of the tournament.

After winning the toss, Game Changerz elected to field first, sending Royal Goodwill Cricket Club to bat. Making full use of the opportunity, Royal Goodwill produced a strong batting performance and set a challenging target of 207 runs.

The innings was marked by confident stroke play, steady partnerships, and a healthy scoring rate that kept the opposition under pressure.
In reply, Game Changerz were bowled out for 146 runs, falling short of the target by 60 runs.

Royal Goodwill’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance, maintaining tight lines and lengths while picking up wickets at regular intervals. Sharp fielding further ensured that the chasing side never gained momentum.

Jahangir Lone was adjudged the Player of the Match for his impactful all-round performance. He played a crucial knock of 50 runs of 17 balls and also contributed with the ball by taking a wicket, playing a decisive role in his team’s victory.

The match was graced by Joginder Singh, JKPS, who attended the fixture as the Chief Guest. He lauded 92.7 BIG FM for successfully organising the BIG Jammu Kashmir Premier League and congratulated the players for their competitive spirit.

He remarked that such tournaments provide a positive platform for youth, promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, and help channel young minds towards constructive and healthy activities through sports.
The encounter drew a large number of spectators and cricket enthusiasts, creating a vibrant atmosphere at the venue.

Vikrant Sharma, Cluster Head – North, 92.7 BIG FM; RJ Juhie; Ahmer Ikhlaq; and Sahil Choudhary were also present on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, sponsors, officials, media persons, and supporters for their continued encouragement.

The organisers expressed satisfaction over the enthusiastic response on Day 2. With more competitive fixtures lined up, the BIG JKPL 2025–26 continues to generate excitement and momentum at the University of Jammu Ground.
