Jammu, Dec 22: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday chaired a Cabinet meeting in Jammu where several important administrative and developmental matters were placed for discussion.
    
Sources said that the meeting focused on reviewing ongoing projects and clearing time-bound proposals related to governance and public welfare.

According to official inputs, the meeting assessed the status of major works underway across different departments and explored measures to expedite schemes facing delays.

The Cabinet also discussed administrative approvals required for upcoming initiatives planned for various districts of the Union Territory.

The ministers during the meeting briefed the Chief Minister on department-wise performance, current challenges, and progress achieved under ongoing programmes.

The deliberations largely centred on improving service delivery, strengthening institutional mechanisms and ensuring timely execution of public infrastructure works.

Further details on specific decisions taken during the meeting are expected to surface a bit later. (KNT)
