Srinagar, Dec 11: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) has on Thursday attached an immovable property of a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist in Behota village of the Doda district.

In a statement, a spokesperson said that terrorist Zahid Hussain son of Abdul Karim Wani of Doda’s Behota village is wanted in case FIR No. 03/2022 of Police Station JIC Jammu.

The statement reads that the attachment was done after a court order and the proceedings were undertaken in the presence of revenue authorities along with independent witnesses.

It reads that land measuring 1 Kanal and 16¼ Marlas was identified as ancestral property share of the accused. “A notice board declaring attachment under Section 83 Cr.PC was formally installed at the location. The entire process was duly photographed, recorded, and documented as per mandatory legal procedure,” it reads.
