Govt orders major reshuffle in PDD

Srinagar, Nov 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday issued a major reshuffle in the Power Development Department (PDD), ordering fresh transfers and postings of I/c Executive Engineers and I/c Assistant Engineers across various corporations and divisions in the UT.

According to an order, several I/c Assistant Executive Engineers (Electric), who were recently placed as I/c Executive Engineers vide order dated 17 October 2025, have now been posted to new assignments with immediate effect.

Riyaz Ahmad Kababi has been posted as Executive Engineer, ED-Kupwara, KPDCL, replacing Aijaz Muzaffar Ronga, who shall await further posting.

Miss Bilquise Draboo has been posted to STD-II, KPDCL, against an available vacancy.

Munib-ur-Rehman has been posted to SLDC Bemina, JKPTCL. He will also hold additional charge of Executive Engineer, ED-Bijbehara, KPDCL, till further orders.

Rajesh Sharma has been placed at the disposal of MD, JKPDC, for further posting.

Rohit Bhagotra has been posted to STD-I, JPDCL, Jammu, while Zahoor Ahmad Rather has been posted to ED-Sumbal, KPDCL.

Qaiser Khalil Qadri has been assigned STD-Bijbehara, KPDCL, against an available vacancy.

Ghulam Nabi Mir has been posted to JKPCL Division-I, Srinagar, and will also hold additional charge of Executive Engineer, STD-I Srinagar, KPDCL.

Malik Habib Ahmad has been posted to Electric Inspection Division, Kashmir.

Vinod Kumar has been posted to IT&C Division, JPDCL, Jammu, while Peer Abdul Hamid has been assigned ED-Kulgam, KPDCL.

Sardari Lal has been posted to ED-II Gandhi Nagar, JPDCL, Jammu, and Latief Ahmad Parray has been posted to ED-III, KPDCL.

Manjeet Singh has been placed in TLMD-II, Gladni, JKPTCL, Jammu.

Riyaz Ahmad Naik joins Central Store Division, JPDCL, Jammu. Vishal Chouhan has been posted to ED-Pulwama, KPDCL, with additional charge of STD-Pulwama.

Meenakshi Sadhotra has been posted to Projects Division (Circle-II), Doda, JPDCL. Arun Gupta will now serve in Project Division (Circle-I), JPDCL, Jammu.

Vaneet Gupta has been posted to ED-Udhampur, JPDCL, with additional charge of STD-Udhampur. Yasir Arafat Khan joins ED-Reasi, JPDCL.

Rajeev Koul has been appointed as Executive Engineer, TLMD-II Pampore, JKPTCL. Vaneet Gupta has been posted to ED-I, Parade, Jammu.

The order was issued by Financial Commissioner (ACS) Shailendra Kumar, IAS.

In a separate order (159-JK(PDD) of 2025), the government also placed a large number of newly promoted I/c Assistant Engineers at the disposal of various Managing Directors for further posting.

Under JPDCL Jammu, 33 officers including Showkat Imtiyaz, Vivek Kumar, Amit Sharma, Ajay Chib, Pardeep Kumar, Pawan Kumar, and others have been placed for subsequent deployment.

Under KPDCL Srinagar, officers such as Nadia Gul, Anisa Yattoo, Arshid Ahmad Najar, Abid Rasool Bodha, and 30 others have been placed at the disposal of the Managing Director.

Similarly, under JKPTCL, officers including Jugraaj Singh, Sandeep Kour, Mohd Ashraf Malik, Harjeet Singh and several others have been placed for assignments.

Under JKPDC, officers such as Parshotam Singh, Ajit Singh, Sheikh Muzamil Ahmad, Majid Yousuf and others will be posted as per requirement.

Two officers Safdar Rashid and Aijaz Ahmad Raina have been deployed to the Housing & Urban Development Department and PW (R&B) respectively.

The government has directed concerned Managing Directors to assign duties and additional charges wherever required.
