Jammu, Nov 27: Jammu Police on Thursday said it arrested a 19-year-old boy from Bathidi area as a key suspect in a terror related case.

As per a statement, the boy, originally a resident of Reasi, was presently residing in the Bathindi area, and is a key suspect in terror related case filed FIR No. 331/2025 u/s 113(3) BNS at Police Station Bahu Fort.

“Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused was being radicalised online and was allegedly planning to carry out a terror act. It has also surfaced that he was in touch over mobile phone with certain numbers based in Pakistan and other foreign countries,” it reads.

It added that the suspect’s digital devices have been seized, and are being examined and analysed, while detailed questioning of the accused and a thorough investigation is underway.
