The delegation pointed out that although the capacity of the Receiving Station has been enhanced, no corresponding augmentation of the 33 KV line has been carried out to cater to the additional load. Consequently, the existing 33 KV line has now become incapable of bearing the increased demand.

The Executive Engineer gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that the matter would be taken up with the higher authorities to find a practical and sustainable solution within a week’s time.

The delegation expressed hope that the department will take prompt and concrete steps to address this long-pending issue and bring much-needed relief to the people of the area.
