NC wins 3 RS seats, BJP secures 1

Srinagar, Oct 24: The ruling National Conference won three Rajya Sabha seats on Friday while BJP unexpectedly secured one seat.

According to details of results, National Conference candidate Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan won first seat.

The voting on this seat is almost on expected lines.

NC’s Sajjad Kichloo secured victory on the second seat by defeating Rakesh Mahajan of BJP.

The third and fourth seat was won respectively by Sat Sharma of BJP and Shammi Oberoi of NC.
