Kupwara, Oct 14: Two infiltrators were killed on Tuesday after security forces foiled an infiltration attempt in the Machil sector near the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
Officials said that alert troops noticed suspicious movement near the Line of Control and opened fire, triggering a brief exchange of gunfire that resulted in the killing of two terrorists
The search operations are underway to rule out the presence of more infiltrators. (KNO)
