Srinagar, Aug 17: Patron of Rashtriya Muslim Manch and famed intellectual Dr Indresh Kumar Sunday visited Ziyarat Baba Zainuddin Rishi (RA). He was accompanied by Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi.

They paid obeisance at the shrine and prayed for the welfare of whole of humanity. Prof Shahid Akhter, the officiating Chairman of National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions & the National Convenor of Muslim Rashtriya Manch also accompanied Dr Indresh during the visit.

Later, Dr Indresh Kumar spoke to media and expressed his happiness to see the development at the Sufi shrine. “These shrines are the places of harmony and love. We are happy to see the development at these spiritual shrines under the leadership of Dr Darakhshan”, said Indersh Kumar.

He said that Jammu is Kashmir is the crown of India and India is the crown of the world. “Sare Jahan Se Acha Hindustan Hamara is the reality as this country belongs to all faiths equally without any discrimination for anybody. Brotherhood, harmony and peace is all we all seek at such revered places”, said the Margadarshak of Muslim Rashtriya Manch.

He said that we all are working hard to re-establish the era of permanent peace, prosperity and brotherhood here. Chairperson of Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan thanked Indresh Kumar for his visit to the Sufi shrine and said that the contribution of Indresh Ji for welfare of the Muslim Communities in the county is very significant.

Board Member Syed Mohammed Hussain and Executive Magistrate of the Board Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin were also present during the visit.
