CS to chair meeting on pending vacancies, service cases on Aug 13

Srinagar, Aug 9: The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir will convene a high-level meeting on August 13, 2025 (Wednesday) at 5:00 PM in the Committee Room, 3rd Floor, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, to review key service-related matters, the General Administration Department (GAD) said in a notification issued today.

According to the order, the agenda will cover the status of filling up vacancies referred to JKPSC/JKSSB, unadvertised posts, pending selections awaiting clarifications from indenting departments, pending RDA cases, pending DPCs, and review of RAS/SRO-43 cases.

The meeting will be attended by all Administrative Secretaries, the Chairman of the J&K Services Selection Board, and the Secretaries of the J&K Public Service Commission and J&K Services Selection Board. Jammu-based officers will join virtually from the Meeting Hall, 2nd Floor, Civil Secretariat, Jammu.

The GAD has directed all Administrative Secretaries to present details of vacancies in their departments that are fit for referral to recruiting agencies, in the prescribed format A & B, by or before August 12, 2025. They have also been asked to submit information regarding the holding of DPCs as per annexure C & D. (KNC)
