Srinagar, July 20: The 11th match of the Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League, powered by Athwas Hyundai and the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, brought fans to the edge of their seats as Arco United FC edged past Aqua Avengers Kashmir FC with a narrow yet significant 1-0 win at the Synthetic Turf TRC Ground.

In front of a packed stadium brimming with electric energy, it was Ikhlaq Fayaz who emerged as the hero of the match. His well-timed strike in the first half proved to be the decider, earning Arco United FC three crucial points in the fourth round of the league. The encounter featured gripping midfield play, solid defensive displays, and moments of individual brilliance that made it one of the standout fixtures of the tournament.

The award winners include Khyber Cement Game Changer Award – Tajamul, Khyber Cement Player of the Match – Ikhlaq Fayaz, Athwas Golden Moment Award – Sahil Khurshid and Events Emporio X Factor Excellence Award – Zubair Akhoon.

The awards ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Kaiser Bhat from Downtown Heroes FC, Dr. Sheikh Saddam from SKIE Classes, Bashir Ahmad Nadvi, Former Chairman of Athrout, and Mohammad Maqbool Lone from New JK United FC, who collectively praised the tournament’s growing impact in promoting football at the grassroots level.
