Srinagar, June 25: Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 25.0 °C the highest ever in history for the month of June.

A private weather forecaster, Faizan Keng stated that this is the first time in the city’s recorded history that the mercury has remained so high before sunrise.

The average daytime temperature for Srinagar currently stands at 29.2 °C, indicating that temperatures typical of summer afternoons are now being witnessed even in the early morning hours.

Similarly, at 18.8°C, Pahalgam again breaks the record, registers the highest ever minimum temperature in June.
