Jammu, Jun 16: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma accompanied by Station House Officer Trikuta Nagar Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia and other officers conducted a security review of Saraswati Dham, Vaishnavi Dham and Kalika Dham Railway Station Jammu.

During the review, DIG JSK Range as per a statement issued to the INS, inspected the guards deployed in and around Saraswati, Vaishnavi, Kalika Dham, enroute checking, CCTV Cameras installed, Parking area and others.

Sharma imparted the necessary directions to SHO and other officers for making foolproof security arrangements in and around the venues. Besides, necessary briefing has also been given to the officers/officials deployed on the venue with regard to the sensitivity and nature of duty. They were directed to remain extra alert on their points.

Strategies to manage the expected high influx of pilgrims, including traffic regulation, emergency services, disaster management plans to address health-related issues and emergencies during the Yatra were also reviewed.
