Srinagar: SKIMS on Sunday rejected as “sheer imagination” a message on social media groups which has been attributed to its Director Dr. A. G Ahangar and has urged people not “not to be swayed by rumours and canards.”
“One message is circulated on Facebook attributed to Director SKIMS Dr. A. G Ahangar in which he has been quoted to have said that corona cases in Kashmir would increase to be followed by decline,” said Assistant Director, PR SKIMS in a statement issued here. “This message is sheer imagination and has not been communicated by the Director’s office. Dr. Ahangar has appealed to people not to be swayed by rumours and canards and not to believe such reports without ascertaining the veracity,” the statement added.
