Srinagar, Jun 11: BJP National Executive Member, Minister of State & Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi Wednesday addressed a Press Conference at Anantnag during a special program organised by the BJP to commemorate eleven years of Narendra Modi led government at the center.

She highlighed the achievements of Modi government during the past eleven years. She shared the details about the welfare schemes of the government which changed the life of the poor and marginalized people and which uplifted the huge population out of the poverty.

“During these eleven years, Modiji corrected the wrongs of earlier regimes and ensured India’s growth as a global power through bold & visionary decisions. He created a new governing system where there are no scams, corruptions & irregularities like his predecessors”, said BJP leader as per a statement issued to INS.

She said that the popularity of Modiji within and outside the country is all because of his visionary performance at the ground level with all inclusive approach. “Modiji’s Make in India, Digital India, Skill India, Khelo India, Aayushman Bharat, Awaas Yojna etc have played great role in boosting our life standards and uplifting our economy at the grassroots and laying the strong foundations for a self reliant Bharat. Initiatives like direct benifit scheme & UPI has boosted Indian economy”, said Andrabi.

She said that India has highest economic growth rate which has enabled us to become 4th largest economy of the world. “We will soon become the third largest economy. One more important achievement of Modi govt is control on inflation despite the global impacts. This government has led the country to innovations and limitless possibilities”, said Andrabi.

BJP National Executive Member said that this era is the golden period of India known for the bold decisions taken by Modiji. Decisions like Operation Sindoor have established India as a global power taking it’s decisions without hesitation and compromises.

She said that by abrogating the special status of J&K, the era of peace and development started in J&K and now we all are witness to the transformative measures taken by the government in J&K and we all are reaping the fruits of this change.

She cited the example of Waqf Board constitution as per Central Act for the first time which resulted in Waqf reforms & developments beyond any imagination in J&K during the past few years. “Inclusive and visionary development in all sectors of life has made the life of common citizens easy and comfortable and this Amritkal is laying the foundation for Viksit Bharat”, said Andrabi.

BJP District President Rakesh Koul & other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
