113 points collected in mega blood donation camp at Khyber Institute Sgr

Srinagar, May 19: An annual mega blood donation camp was held on Monday at Khyber Medical Institute Srinagar by the well established Blood Centre having all component facilities.

Similar blood camps have been organised for more than 10 years.

As per a statement issued to the INS, organising blood donation camps helps the patients with chronic Kidney failure on Dialysis, cancer patients, severe Anemia, patients with coagulation disorders and platelet disorders.

113 points were collected today by Healthy Blood Donors who approached Khyber hospital & donated their blood.

The blood management of Khyber hospital expressed gratitude to all those who came for blood donation today.

Management also appreciated the Blood bank Khyber HOD, blood bank staff, volunteers, neighbours, doctors and staff members of Khyber hospital who came for blood donation.

Management has decided that this blood will be transfused to all needy patients with a registration fee of Rs 100 only.
