New Delhi, May 11: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said the terrorists responsible for wiping the “sindoor from the foreheads” of Indian families have been brought to justice by the Indian Army through ‘Operation Sindoor’, which included targeted strikes deep inside Pakistan, including on the Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Defence Minister as per JKNS said, “India entered Pakistan and carried out multiple strikes. We attacked the Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi. No civilian was harmed in Pakistan,” Rajnath Singh said while speaking on the inugral function.

He added, “Terrorists who wiped the sindoor from the foreheads of many families have now been brought to justice through ‘Operation Sindoor’.”

The Defence Minister described the response as a “befitting reply to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism” and warned that no terrorist or handler would remain safe across the border when India decides to act.

“Our forces have made it clear that whenever India takes action against terrorism, even land across the border will not remain safe for terrorists and their handlers,” he said.

Singh said the government stands firmly with all the families affected by terrorism and praised the armed forces for executing the operation with precision and restraint.

The remarks come days after a deadly terror attack in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir claimed 26 lives, triggering widespread public outrage and calls for a strong response. In retaliation, Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor, conducting precise strikes inside Pakistan to target terror infrastructure.

Pakistan carried Ceasefire voilations hours after India and Pakistan announced a fresh ceasefire agreement on Saturday evening, brokered with the help of U.S. President Donald Trump, who later praised both nations for showing “strength and wisdom” to de-escalate tensions.
