Govt orders transfer, postings of 9 police officers

Srinagar, May 07: Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and postings of nine police officers with immediate effect.

According to an order, a copy of which lies with the INS, Uttam Chand, IPS, IG (POS) HQ, shall hold the charge of IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, J&K, IG (Tech) and IG (Telecom) in addition to his own duties, relieving M. Suleman Choudhary, IPS, of the additional charge.

Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG Armed, Jammu, shall hold the charge of DIG IR Jammu in addition to his own duties.

Mohd. Arshad, JKPS Director, Home-guards, Jammu, shall hold the charge of DIG HG/CD & SDRF, Jammu in addition to his own duties.

Hariprasad K.K., IPS, awaiting orders of adjustment, is posted as, Additional SP Baramulla, against an available vacancy.

Kartik Shrotriya, IPS, awaiting orders of adjustment, is posted as, Additional SP Anantnag vice Sajad Ahmad Sheikh.

Mukund Tibrewal, IPS, awaiting orders of adjustment, is posted as, SP OPS Border & Kandi Kathua, against an available vacancy.

Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, Additional SP Anantnag, is transferred and posted as, SP CTC Lethpora (Vice Principal) against an available vacancy.

Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Additional SP Anantnag (Over All Reserve post), is transferred and posted as, Dy.CO IR-23 vice Rameez Raja.

Rameez Raja, Dy.CO IR-23, is transferred and posted as, Additional SP Anantnag (Over All Reserve post) vice Ghulam Hassan Sheikh.
