Ramban, Apr 26: Based on the recommendation of Project Director NHAI, PIU Ramban, and to ensure the safety and well-being of the general populace, travelers, and drivers, sanction has been granted for a 24-hour traffic halt on National Highway-44, officials said on Saturday.

As per an order issued, “sanction is hereby granted in favour of NHAI, PIU Ramban, for taking a 24-hour traffic haltage from 08:00 AM on 27.04.2025 (Sunday) to 08:00 AM on 28.04.2025 (Monday) for widening of damaged road portion on NH-44 in strict adherence to the conditions outlined in the aforementioned communication from the Project Director NHAI, PIU Ramban.”

The order further states, “Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban & Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, NHWs, Ramban, shall implement the aforesaid order in letter and spirit.”
