Man injured after attacked with sharp-edged weapon in Sgr, accused arrested

Srinagar, Apr 22: A man was injured after being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon in Lal Nagar area of Chanapora in Srinagar on Tuesday late evening, officials said.

An official told KNO that soon after the attack, the man was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment.

He said that he has injuries in throat and left wrist and is being treated by doctors at the hospital.

The injured has been identified as Mohammad Saleem Jeelani of Pirbagh, Hyderpora.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
