Srinagar, Apr 17: The government on Thursday ordered major reshuffle in police department with the transfer and posting of 113 officers, 17 of them IPS rank, with immediate effect in the interest of administration.

According an order, Uttam Chand (IPS-2002) has been transferred and posted as IGP (Police Operations & Services) PHQ against available vacancy, Sarah (IPS-2008) has been posted as DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood (IPS-2009) as DIG IR Kashmir against available vacancy, Umesh Kumar (IPS-2009) as DIG Training PHQ, against available vacancy, Rayees Mohammad Bhat (IPS-2010) as DIG CID Kashmir against available vacancy, Jatinder Singh Johar (IPS-2012) as I/c Director Police Telecommunication, against available vacancy, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav (IPS-2013) as SO to IGP Technical Services, against available vacancy, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IPS-2013) as SSP Traffic City Srinagar, Ranjit Singh Sambyal (IPS 2013) as Principal PTTI Vijaypur, against available vacancy, Amritpal Singh (IPS-2014) as SSP Anantnag, G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy (IPS-2014) as SSP Srinagar, against available vacancy, Sanjeev Kumar Khujuria (IPS 2014) as Commandant 1st Border Bn JKAP, Tanushree as SP SIA HQ against available vacancy, Bisma Qazi as Commandant, 2nd Woman Battalion JKAS against available vacancy, Haresh HP (IPS 2027) as AIG Welfare PHQ against available vacancy, Divya D (IPS-2018) as SP SIA Kashmir and Ragav S (IPS-2018) as SP tech CID headquarters. Besides the government ordered transfer of 96 JKPS officers with immediate effect.
