Mughal Road reopens for single lane traffic from Bufliaz to Peer ki Gali

After 3 days closure, Mughal Road thrown open for vehicular movement

Poonch, Apr 15: Following the clearance of snow accumulation and landslides along the Buffliaz to Peer Ki Gali stretch (43.6 km) under NH-701A, the Mughal Road has reopened for single lane vehicular traffic from today.

As per the order issued by Deputy commissioner Poonch, the road from Bufliaz to Peer ki Gali has reopened today

This step was taken after the communication from the Chief Engineer Project Sampark and Officer Commanding 79 RCC (GREF) through official communications dated April 14 and April 13 respectively.

To ensure smooth and safe movement, as per order, the Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Surankote, and Deputy Superintendent of Traffic Rajouri-Poonch have been directed to deploy adequate personnel at Behramgalla, Buffliaz, and Poshana checkposts.

They will enforce strict compliance with the movement schedule and safety protocols.
