Speaking to reporters, Sharma, as per KNO said that the Waqf Bill has been passed in the Parliament and is now subjudice, therefore, discussing the Bill in the Assembly is unconstitutional.

He said that three National Conference parliamentarians remained silent on the issue and now the party including the speaker is trying to incite religious sentiments by demanding a discussion on the Bill in the assembly.

He added that the issue raised by them is aimed to get media attention.
