During the Question Hour, as per KNO, MLA Shopian Shabir Kulley raised concerns about the alleged misuse of public funds on chartered flights.

He demanded the constitution of a House Committee to investigate the matter. In its reply to his Cut Motion, the government has claimed that Rs 14 crore expenditure has been incurred on chartered flights.

The NC-Congress MLAs supported the demand for a probe, while BJP legislators accused them of playing to the galleries instead of investigating the allegations.

This led to a heated exchange of arguments between the two sides, lasting over 10 minutes.

Amid the chaos, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather intervened, stating that the Chief Minister would address the issue during his reply to discussion on grants of departments headed by him at 3:30 PM today.
