Srinagar, Mar 16: Thirty passengers on board a mini-bus have sustained injuries, several of them critically, after an accident in Reasi district this afternoon.

Briefing about the mishap, an official told Kashmir Bulletin that a mini-bus bearing registration number JK11 6395, driven by one Satish Kumar, on way to Moghla (Rajouri) to Teryath, met with an accident on reaching Tara Morh Allya in Reasi, leaving thirty on board passengers with injuries.

“The accident is being attributed to negligence of the driver, and a case vide FIR number 11/2025, under section 281, 125(A) under BNSS, has been registered for further investigations,” said the official.

The official identified the injured persons as; Sapna Devi (25), wife of Vicky Kumar, of Allya; Anjali Sharma (20), daughter of Ajay Kumar, of Moghla; Balwant Raj (54) son of Munshi Ram, of Mangal (Tarenu); Balbir Singh (35) son of Ram Singh of Mallurian; Anju Devi (45) wife of Kamal Singh, of Jungerial; Manju Devi (45) wife of Baldev Singh of Jungerial; Mantra Devi (33) wife of Ramesh Kumar of Jungerial; Raj Kumari (50) wife of Sher Singh of Jungerial; Farzana Kouser (21) wife of Mohd Akhter of Allya; Suman Devi (30) wife of Jasbir Singh of Mallurian; Bitto Devi (50) wife of Krishan Lal of Moghla; Kamla Devi (85) wife of Suram Singh of Moghla; Chanchlo Devi (55) wife of Puran Singh of Jungerial; Subash Singh (44) wife of Sant Ram of Jungerial; Rafaqat Ali (25) son of Abdul Shakoor of Jungerial; Rita Devi (35) wife of Pappu Singh of Moghla; Ganesh Kumar (37) son of Tej Paul of Kheyon; Goutam Sharma (6) son of Sunil Kumar of Kerl Teryath; Babli Devi (29) wife of Sunil Kumar of Kerl Teryath; Guddo Devi (60) wife of Charan Dass of Jungerial; Kamlesh Kumari (42) wife of Kewal Krishan of Jungerial; Kamla Devi (30) wife of Krishan Singh of Jungerial; Pushpa Devi (30) wife of Kewal Krishan of Jungerial; Bimla Devi (60) wife of Suram Chand of Jungerial; Kisho Devi (62) wife of Barfi Lal of Jungerial; Mohini Devi (50) wife of Swarn Singh of Umbligalla; Mohd Ashraf (29) son of Abdul Rashid of Tarenu; Mohd Farooq (40) son of Zimdi Choudary of Allya; Guddo Devi (40) wife of Balwant Raj of Mangal and Anu Sharma (23) wife of Gulshan Kumar of Mangal.

“Two seriously injured persons Goutam Sharma and Rafaqat Ali have been referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment,” added the official.
