Ramban, Feb 19: The government on Wednesday ordered a magisterial inquiry into the death of man at CHC Batote.

As per JKNS, Sub divisional Magistrate, Banihal has been appointed as inquiry officer in this regard.

“Sh. Rizwan Asgar, JKAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Banihal is hereby appointed as an inquiry Officer to conduct the discrete inquiry into the matter leading to death of one Sh. Mohd Abid Son of Mohd Aslam Resident of Thopal Tehsil Batote District Ramban on 18.02.2025 at CHC Batote.” Reads the order

“The inquiry officer shall look into the cause and circumstances that lead to death of the above named individual and shall fix the responsibility of the same. He shall submit his report within a week’s time positively from the date of issue of this order,” it states further.
