Wanpoh, Jan 30: A woman pedestrian was knocked to death after a truck hit her at Wanpoh Flyover on Thursday afternoon, an official said.

He told that a women pedestrian dies after a truck bearing registration number JK03H-8772 hit her soon after the incident the injured women was taken to GMC Anantnag for treatment where she was declared brought dead on arrival.

The deceased was identified as Mubeena Banoo Wife of Mohd Shafi Malik of Danter Anantnag.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation in this regard.
