Srinagar, Jan 30: Incumbent Parliamentarian and Awami Itehaad Party (AIP) Chief, Engineer Abdul Rashid Sheikh, who is currently lodged in Tihar Jail, will go on hunger strike from Friday to protest against the ‘ill-treatment’.

AIP leaders addressed the media persons, said that the party Chief will go on hunger strike from tomorrow in the jail premises to protest the alleged atrocities committed against him.

Advocate G M Shaheen, AUP leader, accompanied by other party men, urged the government of India to allow the incarcerated leader to attend the next Parliament session.
