MeT office indicated that the disturbance, which began earlier today, is likely to bring brief but impactful weather changes across the region.

“Rainfall is anticipated in the lower plains of Jammu by tonight, while higher altitudes in the Valley may witness light snowfall,” said an official from the Meteorological Department.

The weather system is expected to temporarily disrupt normal conditions, particularly in areas prone to road closures and reduced visibility during rain or snowfall. Authorities have advised travelers to exercise caution, especially in the higher reaches of the Valley. (KNT)
