Srinagar, Dec 23: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah on Monday sought a six-month time from the students to address their grievances on reservation policy in the Union Territory.
According to the INS, the CM Omar Abdullah met representatives of protesters at his Gupkar residence today after the protest led by the National Conference (NC) senior leader and Member of Parliament, Aga Ruhullah Mehdi.
Omar has sought 6 months’ time to sort out the reservation matter while protestors say they are satisfied with the assurances to some extent and that the Chief Minister heard them patiently.
The students according to them were told to send any further details with regard to the reservation policy through the personal email.
