Jammu, Dec 12: A 15 Year-old boy was killed due to electric shock in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Thursday.

Officials told GNS that a boy came accidentally in contact with a live wire resulting severe injuries.

Soon locals shifted him to Sub-district hospital Mendhar for treatment, however doctors there declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Mohd Ashfaq (15) son of Mohd Aslam resident of Gohlad.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
