Driver killed, conductor injured in Anantnag accident

Srinagar, Dec 12: A truck driver was killed while as it’s conductor was injured after the vehicle fell into deep gorge at Margan top area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Officials told GNS that a truck carrying bricks from Anantnag to Warwan lost its control at Margan top and fell into deep gorge.

Soon a team of police and locals rushed to the spot to rescue the driver and conductor. Both where shifted to nearby hospital, however driver of the truck was already declared brought dead, where as the conductor is being treated at the hospital.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
