Army soldier killed in accidental mine blast along LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Dec 09: An army trooper was killed in a mine blast near LoC in Mandi area of Poonch district on Monday.

Officials told GNS that during patrolling along LoC, an army soldier accidently stepped on mine triggering a blast.

In this incident one army soldier (Havildar) identified as Subaish (39) was critically injured. He was immediately evacuated to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
