According to the forecast by independent weather forecaster, Faizan Arif, a feeble Western Disturbance is affecting this evening.

He added that a weak Western Disturbance is likely to bring light snowfall to the higher reaches of Kashmir Valley between tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

“A short rain spell in a few plains, particularly in north Kashmir, can’t be ruled out,” he said, adding that another weak Western Disturbance may bring rain and snow on December 02 and 03 as well.

Dry weather is expected to prevail afterward until December 07, accompanied by a significant drop in night temperatures, he added.
